TV times for Down!!

Both the BBC and UTV have shown great interest in Down's success in reaching the All-Ireland final. On Saturday past a few of the squad made their way to the Queens University playing fields on the Malone Road to do an interview session with UTV's John Flack which, its believed, will be broadcast during the week leading up to the final.

On Monday evening past, most of the squad took part in a coaching session with Bredagh Under 10's Camogie team at Cherryvale Playing fields on the Ravenhill Road in Belfast. With Down in Belfast, the BBC's sports reporter Denise Watson, took the opportunity to take a camera along to the coaching session not only to see the girls in action but also to interview some of the players and management, for broadcast on Friday 17th Sept on the BBC's Newsline 6.30.

I'll not say who was and who wasn't interviewed...just in case their little piece was cut...or edited out to use the polite term!!
