FRIDAY 3rd: Dinner
Dance celebrating last years
successes and twenty five years of
activities.
SATURDAY 4th:
Grounds work continues from 9am for
a few hours. All available Club
members are asked to come along and
give a hand. Coaching Seminar in
Castlewellan. The Youth Club will be
open as a drop in facility on
Saturdays from 12noon to10pm to
provide somewhere for young people
to go. Among the activities
available are snooker, pool, table
tennis, big screen TV, cards, indoor
football, cooking facility, etc.
SUNDAY 5th: 6pm
Scor Sinsir in Longstone. 8pm
Bingo; Senior football training.
MONDAY 6th:
Gift-Aid committee meeting 7:30pm.
All members to please attend. Lotto

Games & Coaching
The next Games & Coaching meeting is
on Tuesday 7th February.
Team mentors are reminded of the
Coaching seminar in Castlewellan on
Saturday.
Indoor Hurling
There is a primary school indoor
hurling tournament in Dunavil on
Friday 10th February.
Finance & Social
Membership fees are now due.
Supporters as well as players should
be paid up members.
The next fundraiser is the poker
classic on 18th February
and the next disco is on 18th
March.
Camogie
There have been good turn outs at
the various practices so keep up the
good work. Sticks and helmets now
available from the Club.
Irish Dancing
The dancing class has stopped
temporarily.
Scor
The Club will take part in Scor
Sinsir in Longstone on Sunday 5th
February from 6pm. Some support
would be appreciated.
Mourne Youth Forum & Kilkeel
Youth Providers
There is a meeting in React on
Thursday 2nd February.
Gaelic Telecom
Club members will be contacted over
the next week by Gaelic Telecom
regarding their Croke Park endorsed
scheme.
Dinner Dance
The Annual Awards take place on
Friday of this week at the Park
Hotel Omeath. There will be
presentations to the Reserve
footballers runners up in the
Championship; U21 footballers
winners South Down & County
Championships; Minor footballers
runners up in the County League &
Championship. Also to Players of the
Year in football and Camogie & to
our four All Ireland winning Down
Minors, as well as some special
awards. 2006 is An Riochts twenty
fifth year in competition. Dancing
to ‘Not All There’.
Grounds & Development
The next committee meeting is on
Monday 13th February at
8pm. It is only four weeks until the
Premier Reserve League starts, 5th
March, so time is running short for
getting all the necessary work done.
Work continues on Saturday mornings,
a job to suit everyone, so get
involved and give a hand.
Gift-Aid
There has been an encouraging
response to the Gift-Aid programme
and those involved in recruiting
members are requested to attend a
meeting in the Club on Monday, 6th,
at 7:30pm.
