Wednesday 20th 10.30am Visit to Croke Park Museum & Stadium Tour. 7.30pm U8 & U10 football practice at Dunavil. 7pm U18 Football Clonduff v An Riocht.
Thursday 21st 11am End of Junior Summer Scheme Talent Show & BBQ. Visit from Fire & Rescue big Red Engine. 7pm U14 Football An Riocht v Bosco. 8pm Senior Summer Scheme (aged13+) James Bond Poker Night ‘Chips and Cocktails’.
Friday 22nd 7pm Senior Football Saval v An Riocht.
Saturday 23rd U12camogie Warrenpoint v An Riocht.

An Riocht
* Dunavil hosted its first SFC tie on Friday past and everything went well. Thanks to all who helped with the preparations and on the night. It was a real team effort.
* The Senior footballers play Kilcoo in the Championship on Tuesday, Sundays fixture was rained off.
* The U18 football match with Mayobridge was postponed due to the death of Gertrude Cunningham (RIP) mother of Club Chairman James.
* The U16 football match v Annaderg did not take as the visitors were depleted due to holidays.
* The U14 football match v Bosco was postponed for a week due to the Newry clubs involvement in the Junior Championship.
* The U12 football match in Banbridge was also postponed due to the weather.
* The Mayobridge U8 & Warrenpoint U10 football tournaments were cancelled due to heavy rain on Saturday. The Jim Mulholland Cup U10 11-a-side football tournament at Dunavil will take place on Saturday 30th August.
* The U10 Camogie Blitz was postponed on Saturday due to the weather.
* The U12 Camogs lost two nil to Clonduff in the league despite strong showings from Sinead O’Rourke, Clare Connor, Sarah Carvill and Laura Magee.
* The Junior Camogie Final also fell victim to the weather. No new date is known yet.
* New Club Flags available from the shop at Dunavil.

KYC
* Week Five of the Junior Summer Scheme was completed with visits to the Butterfly House and to Newry Omniplex and centre based activities including the Kingdom Olympics and Sing Star party. The Junior Summer Scheme concludes on Thursday with a talent show, barbecue and visit from the big red Fire Engine.
* In the Senior Summer Scheme there were It’s an ‘Inflatable Knockout’ challenge and ‘Blood, Sweat & Beers’, an information evening on the effects of drink on sporting performance.
* There will be an outdoor pursuits themed Senior Residential in Fermanagh next weekend based on Devenish Island and including a visit to the Marble Arch Caves.
* Well done to the Leaders who completed their NCFE Level One certificate in Drug Awareness at REACT last week.
* KYC presents an Open Night on Monday 7th September at Dunavil. More details soon.
* Among the activities lined up for KYC Autumn / Winter programme are Ice Skating on 12th September, a Pool Tournament on 18th & 19th September, a Car Wash Day on 20th September, Blind Date on 22nd September, Senior Members meeting on 25th September, a visit to the Opera House on 9th October, a Table Quiz on 13th October, Bowling on 17th October, Senior Members Committee on 20th October, Cake Sale & Coffee Morning on 25th October, Haloween Festivities, a Music & Drama Residential as part of the Alternative Media Programme.
* Free tuition by young people for young people in Guitar, Drum and Bass every Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm in Warrenpoint Town Hall for aged 13+. Ask at the club for details.
* Fire & Rescue offer the opportunity to train as a fireman as part of their Local Intervention Fire Education programme. This is open to boys and girls aged 14+. The closing date for names is soon.
