U-16s
The U16s lost at home to a ballykinlar/dundrum
team that we bigger and stronger,the
homeside battled throughout the game and
Baysiders only pulled away for a
comfortable victory in the final ten
minutes
U14s Ardglass 4-4 Darragh Cross 2-9
In a tight match on a sunny evening in
Ardtole the Ardglass u14s put in a
strong performance to come from behind
in the second half and win,stephen
rooney scored 2-3 from midfield to help
Ardglass to victory while adam millar
made some fine saves in goals and daniel
maginn made a brave last ditch block to
clear a goal bound effort. Tony Darragh
and sean pol thompson were a good
attacking outlet from the half back line
while christian o'connor and darren
fitzpatrick were the other goalscorers
ACFL DIV 3 ARDGLASS 1-9 NEWRY BOSCO 2-9
Ardglass lost this tie in the first
half, although there was only a six
point gap at the break all of Bosco's
scores came from ardglass making
fundamental mistakes ten yard passes
going awray, poor kickouts, mistimed
tackles all attributed to Bosco
scoring1-7 in the first period while
Ardglass had only a johnny o'connor goal
and and a chris degan fifty to show for
30 minutes of play
The Ardglass management made some
tactical changes at half time with
stephen degans moving from full-back to
midfield.Ardglass opened the half with
two wides before chris degans scored his
second fiftyof the game.Bosco responded
with two wides before scoring apoint and
a goal following two poor kickouts. The
Bosco keeper was forced into an
acrobatic save from experienced full-foward
barry kearney.Ardglass kicked two more
wides before Bosco scored another point
to leave a ten point margin with ten
minutes remaining
Ardglass finally managed to get a grip
on the game and scored seven unanswered
points but it was too little too late as
Bosco held out for a three point win

Ardglass opened their account in the
east down reserve league with a
workmanlike performance against Darragh
Cross,a poor first half saw them trial
7-5 at the break .however ardglass never
closed the gap until Ryan Kelly scored
1-1 in the final five minutes asisted by
scores from the experienced edward magee
and eamon mcevoy
EAST DOWN MINOR FEIS SEVENS WINNERS
Ardglass won the minor feis sevens in
ballykinlar after seeing of a st johns/domara
combo they met castlewellan ,who pipped
them for the east down league, in the
semi-final and had treffic win aftera
pulsating 15 mins of play. In the
final they met Carryduff and in a tense
game the fitter side pulled away in the
end .Congratulations to the players and
management who now progress to the
county final
Ladies junior league
Ardglass ladies won their opening league
game with a comfortable victory over St
Paul's,in an all round good team
performance the Ardglass girls dominence
showed that the long pre-season training
was paying off
EDU14 FL ST JOHN'S 5-8 ARDGLASS 2-3
Ardglass travelled to st john's with a
weakened team and battled for sixty
minutes against their stronger opponents
and the lashing rain. Aidan Denvir and
stephen moore were the best of the
defenders while Matthew mullan had an
excellent second half in goals.Lee
murphy and stephen rooney were the
goalscorers

Ardglass lost this game by the narrowest
of margins,however the scoreline
does not reflect Ardglass' dominance of
the game and their failure to convert
the many chances that they created.
Ardglass amassed nine wides in the first
half both from play and from dead ball
situations,while Glenn were very acurate
with any possession that they gained
