Ardglass had a
narrow two point victory over Aghaderg,
in a match played in poor conditions
both teams attempted to play good
football .Ardglass were poor in the
first half however after some stern
words at half time Ardglass responded
with a solid second half performance
to ensure they remained in second spot
in the table
The next senior
game is away to table toppers
Glassdrumman ,while the Minors play
Kilcoo in the Minor championship
quarter final this Wednesday at
Ardtole 7.30 Throw-in.
Ladies Junior
Championship Semi-final
The Ardglass ladies
team fell at the semi final stage of
the Junior Championship for the second
year in a row ,After a strong first
half performance they trailed by three
points. However the stronger and more
experienced Tullylish side dominated
the second half. The Ardglass cause
wasn’t helped when star defender
Bronagh Beattie had to leave the field
injured .Leah Milligan had a great
battle in midfield and was the focal
point of the Ardglass team , Fatima
Ross and Emma shields battled
throughout and June Telford had solid
performance in goal
Under14s
The under 14s lost
at home to Kilclief at in the
championship on Thursday evening . The
match was played in very poor
conditions ,but both teams played free
flowing football Stephen Rooney and
Daniel Maginn scored goals for
Ardglass and Chris Armstrong and
Stephen Moore defended well while
Terry Kearney made some fine saves in
goal.
Under 12s
The under 12s
recorded another home victory with a
fine display against Dundrum, Stuart
Curran, Shane Taggart , John Feenan
and Mark Deegans all played well while
Brendan Mc Evoy had a solid game
between the sticks
Family fun Day
There will be a
family fun day at Ardtole this Sunday
with fun and games for all the family
from 2pm onwards
While there will
also be a vintage vehicle rally in the
adjoining field in aid of Marie Curie,

DOWN GAA SUMMER
CAMPS
The club will be
Hosting a coaching summer camp from 15th-19th
August from 2-5 pmThe camps which are
for boys and girls between the ages of
8 and 12 (on 1st July, 2005) will
include coaching in the skills of the
game, quizzes, mini games as well as
various fun activities. Each
participant will receive a Summer camp
pack, which includes a GAA Kit -
sponsored by A-Round-A-Pound. All
activities within the coaching schemes
will take place within a frame work of
total supervision. Camps will be
staffed by qualified GAA coaches The
price of this years Camps will be £20
per child
