Ardglass GAC

The seniors enjoyed a five point victory over second placed Newry Bosco on Thursday night.Ardglass started the game at a fast pace and continued to dominate all sectors of the field, however they managed to shoot 14 wides which kept Bosco within reach

Chris deegans scored the first point point of the game as Stephen Deegans and seanie halpin snuffed out a Bosco attack and quickly transferred the ball to attack for the Burly midfielder to score from forty yards, The pacy Paul Smyth was a constant threat to Bosco and was rewarded for his hard work with a well taken goal. Paul Mc Cargo was an effective link man at midfield and was the source of many attacks while Stevie Smyth made his first appearance of the season after recovering from a long term injury

The seniors next Match is at Home to Drumaness on Thursday 7th July @7.30

The under-10s were in action in the Kilclief Blitz on Saturday with 19 keen footballers making the journey down the coast to St Malachy’s park. In the first match they narrowly lost to St Paul’s while in the second match they faced local rivals and hosts Kilclief, after a strong performance they ran out winners only to be overcome by a strong Liatriom team in their third match. David Armstrong and the Clarke brothers were impressive throughout while Christopher Mc Cargo and Jordan Deegans showed some great skills.
