ARDGLASS NOTESThe
minors had a convincing win over St
Patrick’s in the minor Championship
and advance to the quarter-finals. The
Reserves weren’t so lucky away to
Bryansford in the Championship losing
1-6 to 0-6,in a poor game were both
teams kicked many wides ,the game only
livened up in the final minutes when
Ardglass were awarded a 13 yard free
and were trailing by 3 points after
several goal attempts were blocked
Ardglass’ captain Eamon Mc Evoy was
booked for simulation and the match
was blown up after the free was taken
From minors to management
Ardglass under-12s have recently
had a change in management as the the
previous management were unable to
continue in the position . Three of
the present Minor team volunteered to
take over coaching duties until the
end of the season, Ciaran Dorrian will
be assisted by Liam Mullan and Marty
Mc Vickers .The trio have arranged
training for Saturdays at 1.45 for a 2
O’clock start
Juvenile Fundraising draw
Ardglass GAC recently held a
Juvenile Fundraising draw .Below is a

The draw was made on sat 18th
June in the Dock Inn and was made by
Kilclief GAC Chairman Malachy Sharvin.
Ardglass G.A.C. Golf classic and
development draw
Ardglass are running a joint golf
classic with loughinisland on the 9th
of September at Downpatrick golf
course, anyone interested in
sponsoring a Hole or a Tee box or
entering a team should contact Paddy

In conjunction with the golf
classic the two clubs are promoting a
development draw priced at five pounds
the prizes include Holidays for four
in Turkey and Spain for two weeks
includes flights and transfers.
