ARDGLASS RETAIN PAT SHARVIN CUP

Ardglass retained the Pat Sharvin cup on sunday evening after easily seeing of their hosts Kilclief. The home side could'nt contain the talents of Ardgass' teenage talents Laim mullan,Mickey Magee and Matthew Rooney. While team captain Chris Deegan dominated the midfield sector and his brother Stephen controlled the defence throughout. The final margin of seven points was only kept down by Kilclief's netminder Steenson making a string of fine saves and Kieran Polly's long range free taking

The reserves had a comfortable 11 point win over Carryduff after a poor first half a Benny Magee goal brought ardglass to within two points of carryduff at the break. In the second half the experinced Chris polly switched to midfield and this swung the game in Ardglass' favour as Ardglass piled on the scores carryduff were held scoreless in the last quarter of the game

The u-12s lost to Loughinisland in the east down championship in a competive game Shane Taggart and Mark Deegans were the best players for Ardglass. The u-14s lost to Tecconnaght in the league by 3 points. Goals from Conall Feenan and Stephen Rooney kept Ardglass in the game but they were'nt enough to finish teconnaught off. The u-16s also lost at home to drumaness in another close game Martin halpin and Philip Curran played well along with Mark Armstrong
