The stats don't lie
and Ardglass have now conceded 13 goals
in seven matches,Glasdrumman scored two
first half goals in Ardtole on friday
night and they proved decisive in the
end Glasdrumman got off to a good
start,scoring three unanswered points
before Liam mullan responded with a
score from a sideline ball and a chris
degan free. Glasdrumman's first
goal was scored after Ardglass
goalkeeper Richie Fitzpatrivk dropped
ahigh lofted ball into his own netand
this was quickly followed by another
point to increase the away sides lead to
five.
The homeside responed
with a fisted goal from chris polly
after a good centre from liam mullan.
The comeback was short lived as
Glasdrumman's running game had Ardglass
on the back footand they scored a point
from play before mcdole scored a second
goal after he was found in space in
front of goal.Chris Degan converted a
fifty to close the half at 1-3 to 2-5
Glasdrumman started the second half as
they did the first,scoring three
unanswered pointsArdglass began a
spirited comeback after the introduction
of Michael Magee and Chris Taggart to
the foward line.Martin curran converted
a free before the pacy Paul Smyth fired
two shots wide,Glasdrumman then scored
through Cormac Murphy.
In a frantic last
quarter liam mullan scored from a tight
angle, however glasdrumman scored once
more from long range.From then on in it
was all Ardglass, Chris Taggart scored
following a quick free from Stephen
Degans which was followed by two
frees.However the homeside could'nt
overcome the hurdle of the two first
half goals and fell to another home
defeat.

Bredagh side on
Thur night.In a
competive game the ardglas girls were
always in frontwith
Emma Sheilds(1-5)
involed in all the good play in the
foward line.Bronagh

McGarry scored a goal apiece with Aine
Fitzsimmons
scoring a brace of
points.
All the girls would
like to welcome Stephen Beattie onboard
as asistant
manager after being
recruited a fortnight ago by Kieran
Shields
