Ardglass lost their first
home match of the season
with a strong and powerful
dundrum/ballykinlar outfit
out performing them in all
sections.
Mark Cunningham opened the
scoring for the away side
with a goal inside five
minutes. Ardglass replied
with points from Michael
Magee and Matt Rooney. The
baysiders scored another
goal and a two points as the
Ardglass defence was unable
to contain the away sides
pacey attack. The first half
ended with three points from
Ardglass and a further two
from Dundrum /Ballykinlar
side to leave a five point
margin.
Ardglass scored the first
point of the second half
from the boot of Michael
Magee. However the baysiders
took control of the game
adding 1-5 without reply
before Magee scored his
second of the half as The
away side added one more as
the game ended as a contest.
This was an overall poor
display by Ardglass and a
vast improvement will be
needed over the next few
weeks.
Next match is away to
Dromara this Sunday @ 12.
Anyone who has not paid his
Full Membership will not be
available for selection.

Fundraising events
Poker Night- The football
committee will be hosting a
poker night this Frida y
night at 8.30 in Jordan’s
Bar , $10 entry fee and a
$250 prize fund. This event
is in aid of football
development.
Juvenile Disco - There will
be a juvenile Disco this
Saturday night in the
community centre for form
8upwards , Disco from 8-11
and admission $3.
Child protection courses
Four Club members recently
completed the Child
protection course, which now
means all Juvenile coaches
currently operating in the
club have completed the
course and also all present
committee members.
