Ardglass 3-12 St Johns 0-3

Ardglass produced a strong second half display to take the full points in this entertaining match played in sunny but blustery conditions at Ardtole. The first half was a poor affair as both teams struggled with the wind and each team produced a multitude of wides. The half ended 0-5 to 0-2.

The second half was dominated by Ardglass’ midfield pairing of Michael Magee and James Telford as St Johns struggled to gain possession. Three successive goals ended the game as a contest as the home side ran out easy winners. There were good defensive performances from Mark Armstrong and Mark Lappin while Paulo Ross, Karl O’Neill and Daniel Murphy created many chances in the forward line.

Membership -

All fees are due by the March 1^st. All players are reminded that the club has a strict no pay, no play policy. Fees can be paid to the Registrar, Marieanne Crawford or any committee member.

Training Schedule -

Senior and Reserve training continues this Wednesday @ 6.45 and also on Sundays @ 3 in Ardtole. Ladies are to contact K Shields or S Beattie for details of Ladies Schedule.

Under 16s and 14s training on Mondays @ 6.45. Under 12s training will resume in early March.
