Minor
League - Ardglass 2-13
Drumaness 4-4
Drumaness
made Ardglass work hard
for this victory at a wet
and blustery Ardtole on
Sunday. The lead exchanged
hands several times
throughout the game as
Ardglass gifted four goals
to Drumaness through
individual defensive and
goalkeeping errors.
Second half
goals from Matthew Rooney
and Paddy James ensured
the victory for Ardglass
as Michael Magee provided
plenty of supply to young
corner forwards Stephen
Rooney and Philip Curran
whose pace and skill
troubled the Drumaness
corner backs and resulted
in numerous frees which
Magee and Rooney
converted. This was a hard
fought victory considering
the amount of possession
Ardglass Had throughout
the game.
Some
memberships are still due
from senior and juvenile
players. The club has a
strict NO PAY NO PLAY
policy.
