The
Seniors ladies finally
got their season
underway away to
Carryduff last Sunday.
However it was not a
good start to the
season as a strong and
determined Carryduff
outfit dominated the
play from start to
finish, however there
were some encouraging
performances for
Kieran Shields and
Stephen Beattie young
charges. Next game at

left the home side
pointless. Last

great displays at home
against Ballykinler/Dundrum
and Carryduff to get
their season of to a
100% start. Over both
games Daniel Maginn
was in fine goal
scoring form aided by
Stephen Magennis and
Stewart Curran. While
David Kearney put in
strong performances in
Midfield and Ciaran
Mallaghan and Peter
O’Shea defended well.
Next fixture away to
St Paul’s on Thursday.
The
Under 16’s suffered
two heavy defeats,
losing to Saul at home
and Dromara away. In
both games Ardglass
had a very poor first
half but despite
spirited second half
performances they were
unable to make up the
difference. Martin
Halpin led strongly
from the back while
Christian O’Connor was
always an outlet in
the forward line. Next
