Minors lose
in semis
final replay
Ardglass
1-8
Clonduff
2-14
The Minors
lost a
disappointing
semi-final
replay in
Castlewellan
on Sunday.
Ardglass
took a two
point lead
in the
opening
minutes,
however
this was
to the
last time
that they
were to be
in front
as
Clonduff
replied
with a
goal after
five
minutes
and took
control of
the came
after
that.
Ardglass
managed to
pull back
within two
points in
the
opening
period of
the second
half only
for the
Hilltown
boys to
score
another
goal and
pull clear
in the
final
quarter.
Ardglass
never
performed
to their
capabilities
on the day
and will
be
disappointed
with the
end to the
season.

Newry
Mitchell’s
Ardglass
were
without
seven key
players
for this
home tie
against
Mitchell’s
on
Saturday
evening,
and had to
draw on
some
experience
in the
form off,
Chris
Polly,
Tony
Kearney
and Brian
Healy.
In a tight
game
Ardglass
came from
3 points
behind to
secure
victory
with a
late goal
from Chris
Taggart
and a
Brian
Healy
point.
This
narrow win
and the
two points
secured
helped
place
Ardglass
into the
final Play
off spot
with one
game
remaining
