GOLF CLASSIC
2007
The annual
Golf classic was held in
Ardglass Golf Club Friday
past on a glorious sunny
day. The four ball competition
was well contested and was
won by a team consisting
of Basil Wills Rod Harding,
Thomas Prior and Paul Tumility
with a score of 98 points,
In second place were two
brothers from Armagh City
Padraig and Cormac McCann
along with Ardglass duo
Paul O’Shea and Alan
McEvoy with a score of 91
while in third place were
Kevin and Peter O’Shea
along with Marty Miley and
Gary Quinn.
Basil Wills
also won the nearest to
the pin while Leonard McShane
won the prize for longest
drive. All the prize winners
received vouchers for the
Pro Shop at Ardglass Golf
Club which was all kindly
sponsored John Gilchrist
Contractors.

Ballykiner/Dundrum team
in the semi final of the
east down championship,
after a poor first half
Ardglass came back in the
second half although the
damage was done in the first
half.
