Senior Football - Ardglass retained the Connolly Cup once again in a tight final against Bright. Ardglass had to overcome St Johns and Dundrum in previous games. Mark Smyth had an impressive performance right throughout the tournament. The lads played Bright on Monday evening once again in the league (Score not available at time of writing). Training resumes Wednesday from 7:00pm in Ardtole.

Reserve Football – Ardglass played host to Leitrim on a fine Sunday evening in Ardtole. It was a tight game right throughout in which Ardglass will feed disappointed with the 2 point defeat. Ardglass scored a goal in the early stages of the first half – Raymond Connor hit the back of the net after Paulo Ross dispossessed a Leitrim defender to go one on one with the keeper only to see his shot greatly saved by the Leitrim number 1. Points from Stephen Rooney, Clifford Connor, Brian Ross, Mark Armstrong and Mark Smyth kept the point margin to a minimum, but it was not enough to overcome the Leitrim side. Lee Mc Evoy replaced Colly Smith at Half Time – with Paul O’Shea and Eamon Mc Evoy replacing Paulo Ross and Phillip Curran in the last 5 minutes. Training resumes on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm in Ardtole. The reserves are fixtured to travel to St Paul’s in there next game.

Under 16 Football - (DOWN DEMOCRAT ONLY)– The Under 16’s will neighbours Saul tonight in there B Championship finals. The game is scheduled to throw up for 7:30pm in Ardtole.

Ladies Football – Training resumes on Monday and Thursday from 7:00pm in Ardtole.

Vintage Tractor Rally – Happening on Ardtole on Sunday 29th July between 2:00pm and 5:00pm.
