Ardglass GAC Golf Classic

The Annual Golf Classic wil be held this Friday 15th August at ARdglass Golf Club, There are some tee times available at £120 per fourball for Golf and Meal in Clubhouse. Further details from Paul O'Shea

This years event will consist of a Fourball and individual Competition. John Gilchrist, Building Contractor will again be sponsoring the competition, While Leonard McShane and Sons Shopfitters will be providing prizes for the longest drive and nearest o the pin. There will also be a prize draw for £100 Home heating Oil Voucher from Stranford Fuels , plus other prizes.

U14 Championship Semi final

Pride of place in the club this week goes to Ryan Kelly and Ciarian Dorrian's U14 team who reached the
U14 Championship final after a powerful performance in Drumaness on Saturday morning. A great team display from Keeper Brendan McEvoy, defenders Mark Deegans and Mattie Tumelty, while further up the field Peter O'Shea, Jordan Curran, mark Crangle and the Cahir Twins performed strongly. Shane Taggert missed out due to injury and should hopefully recover for the final in two weeks.

The Seniors maintained there position at top of division 3 with two vital away wins to St Pauls on Monday and St Micheals on Thursday.
