*Newry Boscow 0.06 - 0.09 Ardglass
Ardglass took all points away from
the journey to Newry on Sunday captained
by man of the match Eamon Mc Evoy.
Conditions were far from perfect as
much of Saturday evenings wet weather
contributed to a heavy pitch.
The first score in the game came almost
10 minutes into the first half with
a free kick from Ardglass forward
Chris Taggert which was
replyed by a Boscow point minutes
later. The Ardglass men were playing
against the wind in the first half
and went into half time disappointed
trailing Boscow
0.04 - 0.03, having sent 8 shots wide
in the first half. The Ardglass men
raised there game in the second half.
Ardglass defenders Martin Mc Vickers,
Sean Paul Halpin, Stephen Smith, Cliff
and Eamon Mc Evoy kept the back line
tight along with a great performance
by goalkeeper Chris Fleming. Michael
Magee and Liam Mullan were Ardglass's
top scorers having scored 3 points
each, along with a point from Paul
Mc Cargo, Chris Taggert and Ardglass
super-sub Barry Kearney after having
been on the pitch for 15 seconds!
Stephen Deegan played an outstanding
game.
