Aughlisnafin Club Notes 11th August 2008

Aughlisnafin were away to Bright on Friday night, a game which was a dress rehersal for the up and coming championship game. The Fin were not able to trouble a Bright side who were quick, direct and clinical. Bright won the game 4-12 to 0-8.

The Fin scorers were J Brannigan 0-3, R McMullan 0-2, Paddy Mooney, A McDonald and A O'Hare all 0-1. Rory McMullan saw an effort crash of the upright but other than that chances for the Fin went begging due to poor passing and shot selection. The next game will be the championship match against Bright on Sunday 17th August, throw in at 1 pm. The Fin will need to improve in all areas of the field to be able to ask questions of a dynamic Bright side.

Training on Wednesday and Friday night this week. Everyone to attend.

The youth training will now be on Saturdays from 12 - 1 pm in Annsborough from Saturday 16 August onwards.
