Aughlisnafin Club Notes 28th May 2008

Aughlisnafin were at home to Ballykinlar on Friday night and went down 0-12 to 1-5.

In the first half the Fin failed to score to leave it 0-7 to 0-0 in the Kinlars favour at the half time interval. The second half was a different story with the Fin out scoring Ballykinlar 1-5 to 0-5.

Scorers for the Fin were Kevin Walker getting the goal, with two points from James Brannigan and Adrian O'Hare and a 45 from Sean Ladd.

Rory McDonald got the goalkeeping duties and had a good game keeping the Fins first clean sheet of the season. Ben Willoughby had an outstanding game at corner back. There were also good performances from Paddy Mooney and Kevin Walker. Adrain O'Hare was the pick of the forwards before being replaced by Anthony Quinn as a result of injury.

For the first time this season the Fin finished the game strongly and so now we need to bring it all to the table to ensure we get that elusive win.
