Senior Hurling
Training continues on Sunday
mornings at Pairc Na Naomh
in
anticipation of the Betsy
gray competition. Please contact

Any new players are welcome.
It is
important that all players
attend these training sessions,
as the
matches will be starting soon.
The club would like to take
this opportunity to wish the
Ballela
members of the Down Junior
squad the best of luck in
their
forthcoming competition.
Camogie Training
Camogie training continues
every Sunday morning at Pairc
Na Naomh at
9 am. New players are welcome;

more information.
Club Committee
Meetings continue on a weekly
basis and the club would like
to
emphasise that we are still
3-4 people short on the committee
and any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Forthcoming Events
The club committee is currently
planning events for the year
ahead.
If anyone would like to help
or any suggestions for events
please do
not hesitate to come along
to the meetings or contact
any committee
member.
Club registration day
There will be a club registration
day in Ballela School on Sunday
3rd
February between 2pm and 4pm.
It is essential that all parents
of
underage players attend in
order to complete the appropriate
registration documentation.
All players of the various
teams are
asked to attend in order to
pay their membership and complete
their
registration for the forthcoming
season.
The day will include player
registration, member registration,
Club
information, the showing of
a Child Protection Video and
First Aid
facilities will also be on
show.
All new members are welcome
to attend, as there is the
opportunity to
join the club as a member
or to join one of many of
the Hurling or
Camogie teams. Club merchandise
will be available to order
on the day
as well as stick sizing and
helmets. Please contact a
member of the
committee for further information.
Club Lotto
The jackpot is now £5000.
If you wish to contribute
toward the club
lotto please contact any committee
member. A yearly subscription
can
be arranged so you never miss
out on a week!
The numbers for Saturday the
19th January were: 10,13,15,
23. James
Waugh won £10 by matching
3 numbers. Susan Mc Cusker
won the sellers
draw.
Saturday nights draw was in
Mc Cuskers with Noel Burns
and Martin Mc
Anearney drawing the numbers.
The winning numbers were:
2, 5, 12, and
22. There is still no jackpot
winner but 6 people matched
3 numbers
and won £10. Paul Mc
Ardle, Mandy Grafton, Pat
Mc Neill, P Turbidy,
Karen Cosgrave and D Bailey
were the lucky winners. Tom
Montgomery
won the sellers draw.
Saturday night’s jackpot
remains at £5000 and
the draw will be in
Doyle’s pub.
