Ballela - Notes 8th Sept 2008

Championship fever has gripped Ballela this week as the club countdown to one of the biggest games it has had in years. Ballela play Clonduff at Pairc Esler in Newry on Friday with throw in at 6.30pm.
The club would expect to see a large attendance at the game, as the lads need all the support they can get and it is encouraging to see the crowd that has attended the matches throughout the year.
The winners of this match will progress to the Ulster Championship and Ballela are determined that they wont slip up at the final hurdle although they will not be underestimating Clonduff who beat Portaferry in the semi-final.

Ballela have a few doubts going into the match and if there are any absentees it will give some of the squad a chance to show what they can do.

The lads will have been training intensely since the semi-final victory against Warrenpoint, as they know that no one is guaranteed their place in the team.

The club takes this opportunity to wish the lads all the best on Friday night.
