History
of Bright
Although football was played in the
Parish as far back as the Twenties, it was entered
in competition under the aegis of different clubs.
Indeed a chequered past has seen this little club,
with a base situated around Killough. come and go
in the history of the G.A.A in Down.
Based in an area where the harvest
is bleak, Bright have endeavoured to promote Gaelic
games to the best of their endeavours. The club has
ambitious plans for development of playing and youth
facilities.
