This was literally a walk-over for the Bryansford side who
showed their intent right from the opening minutes when Shane King got through
for the opening goal. This score settled the side down and by the half-time whistle
when were ahead by 3-10 to 1-1.
The second-half was more
of the same with the winners in complete control, and Downpatrick trying to save
face in adversity. The losers cause wasn't helped when their corner-back John
Smith was sent off three minutes into the second-half in a match which was a poor
advertisement for the Down senior football championship.
