Burren's U21's began Championship
Campaign with a win

The Burren under-21 team began their Championship campaign with a win over Rostrevor recently. Burren started slowly and were down by three points after the opening ten minutes.

However Eamonn McGovern scored the first point for Burren, followed by three more from Eoin McCartan, two from Ruairi Murdock and another form Eamonn, leaving Burren three points ahead at halftime.

Although Burren were playing against the wind in the second half, they managed to keep on the winning track and went on to win the match by 1 – 11 to 1 – 8.
