An Riocht Get A Late Equaliser Against Minors
The Minors and An Riocht served up an excellent game
of football on Wednesday evening which had the
spectators on the edge of their seats.
In a very close game An Riocht took the early
initiative with a two point half time lead.
Carryduff came back after half time though with a
three pass move from the throw in which saw Jamie
Grant fire Carryduff into the lead with a goal.
Ronan McLaughlin extended the lead a minute later.
An Riocht to there credit rallied well and pegged
Carryduff back before taking the lead again only for
Carryduff to draw level once more and then to take
the lead themselves. In a tense finish An Riocht got
what was a deserved equaliser to finish the game
1-11 to 2-08.
