With the Club growing by the day it has become
necessary to develop a new second pitch and a
training area to help provide facilities to the
Club's 23 teams.
Also, with the need to extend the Clubhouse it is
envisaged that the Club needs to raise in excess of
£1,000,000 over the next five
years.
To get the ball rolling the Club has organised a
New Pitch Development Draw with which it is hoped to
raise enough money to buy the land for the pitch
development.
The draw has a top prize of £10,000 and
runners-up prizes of £2,000 and £1,000. Tickets cost
£10 each or you can get three tickets for £20.
To purchase tickets contact Paul Bradley on
07713399832 or Eddie McCrory on 0778 591 1989 or you
can buy them online at

U-12 Ladies v St.Peter's Lurgan
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In their first game of the season Caryduff U-12
ladies played St.Peter's, Lurgan in a challenge
match at Lough Moss on
Saturday. Despite playing against a stiff breeze
in the first half Carryduff took the lead early on
with a well taken point
from Aine Kerr. But St.Peter's came back strongly
taking advantage of the wind to put Carryduff under
intense pressure. They
scored four goals before Jessica Foy waltzed
through the St.Peter's defence for a brilliant
individual goal, adding on
another point shortly after. Aine Kerr chipped
over a further point before the break to reduce the
defecit. Despite losing
captain Aimee Lavery to injury at half time, the
Carryduff girls took the game to St.Peter's in the
second half with a
battling display of guts and determination.
Niamh Gorman and Sinead Farquarson exemplified
these qualities as time and again they broke up
St.Peter's attacks with superb
displays of tackling and defensive cover. Jessica
Foy scored another stunning goal before putting Amy
Hamill clear for an
excellent point. Aoife McCrory won a lot of
breaking ball to set up Carryduff attacks as the
forwards began taking advantage
of the wind at their backs. Jessica Foy added
another point before Aine Kerr scored a last minute
goal in a well contested
second half. Special mention to Rebecca Clinton
making her debut in nets, her kick-outs were first
class. Also the nine subs
used over the course of the game many of them
having their first taste of competitive football
performed admirably against a
well drilled St.Peter's side in what was a very
enjoyable and sporting contest.
