Dromara Capture Terry
Lawlor Perpetual Cup

Congratulations to Dromara Seniors who wrestled
the Terry Lawlor Perpetual Cup from Carryduff
Reserves for the first time in the Tournament's
3 year history.
A big crowd turned out to watch a very competitive
and entertaining game, which took extra time
to separate the two sides.
An early Dromara penalty gave the visitors
a nice start but a wonder strike from Mikey
Gilmore helped tie the game at 1-05 to 2-02
at the break.
The second half again proved very even with
the teams tied on 1-10 to 2-07 and seven and
a half minutes each way of extra time needed.
A second Dromara penalty proved to be decisive
as they ran out winners by three points.
Final score Ceathrú Aodha Dhuibh 1-13
Droim Bearach 3-10
Dromara proved a stern opposition and with
a batch of young players acquitting themselves
well, will no doubt be pushing for promotion
next season.
The Lawlor Family would like to thank all those
who took part in the Tournament this year, who
helped out with the organisation and hospitality
and all those who came to watch and help make
the Tournament a fitting tribute to Terry.
