U12 Ladies Registration

U12 Ladies registration for the 2008 season will take place on Sunday 17th February 2008 bewteen 12.45-1.30pm at the club house.

All girls wishing to play football this season should attend. Newcomers are very welcome.

The rates for the year are as follows;

Juvenile £50
Family Membership £100
Life Membership £400

Ladies Refereeing Course

A free Ladies Refereeing course is taking place on the 23-24th February. A location is to be confirmed but it will be within the county.

Football Coaching Workshop

A second coaching workshop will be held on Thursday 21st February @ 8:00pm in the club commitee room.

This will be a skills workshop focusing on how to coach the basic skills of Gaelic football, and how to "spot and fix" players who are performing the skills incorrectly.

It will cover Punt Pass, hook pass, fist pass, hand pass, blocking, tackling, catching, solo, bounce, side step and roll evasion

This workshop is open to all underage coaches from both male and female football (it will take the form of video footage broken down and explained, it is not a practical session).

Club Céilí

The Club is holding it's first fundraising event of the year, a Céilí, on Saturday 23rd February from 9pm in St Joseph's Hall.

Entrance is £5 and it's BYO.

Call down and enjoy an evening of 'Craic agus Ceol'

Strictly over 18s.

Players Injury Scheme

The Players Injury Scheme is now closed for Senior, Reserve, Thirds, Minor and Senior Ladies panelists (unless they are a new club member).

The scheme is still open to players from other squads for up to three weeks after their first registration session.

Any player wishing to avail of the Injury Fund must pay their full membership and £20 to be eligible.

Irish Music Classes

Group classes for the following instruments are due to begin in the Club within the next few weeks: Fiddle, Tin Whistle, Guitar and possibly Bodhran. Both Beginner and Intermediate groups are planned. Age from 8-adult.

Cost for ten sessions £20 for Club members or £30 for non-members.

Registration sessions will be held in the Clubhouse on Monday 18th February at 7pm.

Texas Holdem Poker Night

The Club is holding a Texas Holdem Poker Night on Saturday 1st March in St Joseph's Hall from 7.30pm.
