Castlewellan Committee 2005

The Castlewellan GFC’s annual meeting saw a record attendance of members in attendance and they were updated on all aspects of the club and the appointment of a new senior team-manager in the person of former Antrim county manager, PJ O’Hare.

The outgoing Chairman John McCartan gave an update on the progress with the Dublin Road playing fields and appealed to all members to keep focussed on the need to reduce debt an raise funding so that this very important project can be completed in record time.

The Club Secretary Ciaran Crilly gave a detailed plan for the club’s centenary celebrations that will run at various times during the coming year.
