New Senior Team Sponsors

The Club Executive at its meeting held on
Monday 9th January unanimously endorsed the
appointment of Northern Switchgear as team
sponsors to the Club senior football team.
The sponsorship deal is for a 3 year period,
commencing January 2006, and the Committee
would like to thank the Company's Directors
and Club members Conor Fitzpatrick and Cahill
Keown for their generous offer. Northern
Switchgear are also the current sponsors to
the Club's senior ladies team.
The club would like to take this opportunity
to thank our previous senior team sponsor,
Frankie Rooney of the Fountain Bar
Castlewellan.
Frankie was the Club's first senior team
sponsor to which he contributed generously for
a record period, 1993 to 2006.
The Club would welcome sponsorship of the few
remaining underage and juvenile teams that do
not have a current team sonsor. This includes
our new underage camogie team started by
Noreen Keown in 2005.
The Club also takes this opportunity to thank
all its sponsors, past and present, for their
generous contribution to the promotion of
Gaelic games in Castlewellan.

Good luck to our instrumental group of Emer
Walsh, Niall, Orla and Ciara
McCrickard competing in the Scor Na Og Ulster
finals on Saturday 14th
January. Club bus available for competitors
and supporters.
Annual Awards Night:
The annual dinner dance and Club awards night
will be
held in the Burrendale Hotel on Friday 10th
March 2006. A players
sub-committe of senior men, ladies and hurlers
will be appointed to organise
and run the 2006 dinner. If you are interested
