Important club meeting. An important club committee meeting will take place on Wednesday 31st May at 9.00pm. There will be no meeting on Monday 29th.  All committee members are requested to attend with any apologies to the Secretary in person only.

 

Club Shorts Club shorts & socks are now available in John Mc Kenny's menswear.

Litter pick up A considerable number of very generous donations have been given to our litter pickers, a list of which will be published on the club’s website shortly.  The number of goodwill gestures from businesses and the public is very encouraging.  The litter pick it is set for the following dates, 4th of June, Cow Lane area, 11th of June, Station Ave, Mill Hill, 18th of June, Drumee, St Pauls Close, Circular Road and Pitch!!  Could we thank ask all residents and businesses for their continued support of the children on their 'Tidy up the Town' Litter Pick.  The litter pick requires considerable supervision, and we are asking all parents to support us by coming out and supervising on at least one of those days.  Please give your name to either Ciara, Noreen or Dessie.

 

Vhi Cúl Camps -The GAA Summer School Coaching Programme in football and hurling is open to primary school children aged 7 years to 13 years. A Cul Camp week will be held in St Malachy's Park 03 - 07 July. Application forms can be downloaded from the Club website or contact the club secretary Ciaran Crilly on 0771 423 2783 for application form if you do not have access to internet.

 

GO Game Referees  In order to train young referees, or indeed existing Club Referees, to officiate at the Go Games, a training session has been organised in Liatroim GAA Clubrooms commencing at 7.30pm on Wednesday 31st May 2006.  If you are interested please contact the Club Secretary on 0771 423 2783 or any member of the Club Coaching committee.

 

Child Protection Courses for Referees It is essential that all referees intending to referee at underage level attend a referee's child protection course. If you have not already done so, contact Club Secretary immediately 0771 423 2783. Courses will take place in Mayobridge Clubrooms at 7.00pm on Monday 5th June 2006 and the second will be held in Saul Clubrooms on Tuesday 6th June commencing at 7.00pm.

 

An Cumann Craic An Cumann Craic in the Clubrooms 6.30pm to 7.30pm Monday evenings with the aim of promoting spoken Irish among the age group 11 and older.  Come along and join in the craic.
