First Aid:
Dr Eddie Harney will give a brief first aid
presentation in the Club rooms
on Monday 26th February from 7:30pm to
8:30pm,followed by a question/answer session
with 9pm finish. The talk and presentation will
focus on basic principles of managing an injured
player. All team mentors and managers of all
club teams and those involved with coaching any
age group are asked to attend
Foundation Football Course Friday 2nd and
Saturday 3rd March in Clubrooms:
This is an essential requirement for any team
mentor that does not have any coaching
qualification and it will include the necessary
child protection course.

Well Man Clinic:
Thursday 22nd February @ 7.00pm in Clubrooms
The Well Man Clinic is a new initiative on the
part of the Ulster Council
GAA to promote good health among it's adult
members. We have joined forces
with the Ulster Cancer Foundation to guide
people towards a healthier
lifestyle. The night will consist of general
health advice as well as
practical tips to prevent and detect Cancer.

Golf Classic:
Friday March 2nd is the date for the
Castlewellan G.A.C. Golf Classic, which again is
to be played over the prestigious
Royal County Down Championship Course. And the organising committee would like to take this opportunity to thank
the Royal County Down and the Mourne Golf Club
for the use of their superb facilities on the

- Irish youth Club for any teenage pupil of
Irish - practice your Irish and learn while
participating in fun activities.There will be no
Ográs this week because of Mid-term. It will
resume Tuesday 20th Feb. New finish time - 5.30
- 6.30. Club is in St. Mal's HS Gym - all
teenage Pupils of Irish from any school welcome.
