Club Notes for week-ending October 28th
U20’s: The U20’s had another great
win on Sunday on the Club’s new Dublin
Road pitch beating the visitors 6.18 to 0.04.
In only their second outing the U20’s
are already creating a great impression with
some brilliant individual performances as
well as a great overall team performance.
If they can continue to play with such flair
and skill they should do very well in this
competition. Castlewellan scorers Donal McKibben

Richard Kerr (1.02), Colm Flanagan (0.05),
Calium O’Hare (0.1) Gerard Rice (0.02)
Liam McKibben (0.03), Barry Travers (0.02),
Shane McCann (0.01). Next week the U20’s
meet Loughinisland/Teconnaught also at Dublin
Road.
Coaching: Level 1 Football and Hurling Certificate
Courses. The courses are open to all club
coaches who have completed their football
foundation certificate, and are committed
to coaching club teams next year. See website

Over 55’s:The popular cross-community
over 55’s social evenings recommence
in the social Club on Tuesday 6th November,
dancing, supper and a game of bingo. Adm is
free and transport will be provided telephone
the social club any evening after 7.00pm if
you require a lift. You don’t have to
be over 55. If you’re feeling lonely
and fancy a night out you are welcome to come
along.
Irish Classes: In clubrooms p4-Yr 8 inclusive.
Monday evenings 6-7pm. £1 charge for
resources.
Social Club. Friday 26th – Tom McCann;
Saturday 27th – Tommy Fitz; Sunday 28th
– Castlewellan Pool League competition
in Main Hall commencing 11.00am to 7.00pm.
