Club Notes for week-ending January 18th 2008


Castlewellan GAC Clubnotes
TONY MC ATAMNEY

Juvenile Registration and membership will take place in the clubrooms on Saturday 26th January at 12.00noon. Any person or child 18 and under male or female wishing to play Gaelic games for St Malachy's GAC must attend for registration on Saturday 26th. Membership must be paid on the day and remains the same as last year £5 per person or £10 maximum where there are two or more from the same family. Paremts must accompany younger children. New members are most welcome.

Adult Registration male and female will take place on Sunday 3rd February from 2.00pm. Membership and Insurance must be paid in full by all players on the day. Membership £25, plus Insurance £25.

Peak Fitness Gym
Peak Fitness Gym Newcastle available to all Full Members January, February and March 7 days a week for one-off payment of only £5 (sponsored by Northern Switchgear and Club). Take this opportunity to get fit for start of playing season. Gym Tickets must be purchased in Club behind bar.

Scor Sinsear
Can you represent the Club in senior Scor in dancing, singing recitation, instrumental music, ballad grop up, or as part of a quiz team? If so please contact the Club's cultural Officer Ciara Ni Fhlanagain or Paul Lynch. The first heat of the competition will take place on Saturday 8th March

Defribulator Training
Professional defribulator training for club members assisting any club teams and any members of social club staff will be provided by the Club on Saturday 26th February. If you are interested in attending please contact Club Chairman or Secretary. Certificates will be presented to all members completing the course.

Annual Dinner Dance date now set for the 15th of February. Tickets priced £30 each. Limited number of tickets will be available on a first come first served basis.

The Senior management, on Sunday 3rd of February, will address Senior Football Players with a view to commencing Senior Training on Sunday 17th of February.

Club Tracksuit and Gear, due to unprecedented demand members will be allowed to place further orders for tracksuits, coats, rugby style tops and new socks and shorts that the club will be wearing this new coming season.

SENIOR LADIES, The club executive are still actively pursuing a senior ladies team football manager and back up staff, anybody interested please contact the club secretary. The majority of posts have been appointed and a full list of team mentors, assistants and back-up staff will be included in next weeks club notes and internet.
