Clonduff Seconds knocked out the holders An Riocht in the first
round of the Premier Reserve Championship. In a very exciting game played in An
Riocht on Monday night the 'Yellas' turned in a great performance to dethrone
the reigning champions.
Some superb football was played
and the Clonduff boys knocked over some excellent scores. Scores were level at
6 points each at half time.
Clonduff stepped up a gear
in the second half to finish on a scoreline of An Riocht 0-11 Clonduff 0-14.
Tony
Wilson, 'Wee Marty Farnon' belying his size and 'Big Jim Murnin' belying his years,
turned in excellent performances covering every blade of grass on the field!
