Former Down All-Ireland star, and county minor manager, Ross Carr is the new team-manager of Castleblayney Faughs for the coming season.

He follows in the footsteps of current county senior manager Paddy O’Rourke who managed the ’Blayney Faughs side to championship success a few seasons ago. There is a big job to get the famed Faughs back to the top in Monaghan and indeed Ulster club football, and the affable Carr is looking forward to the challenge.

He is one of many high profile managers who have been involved with the ’Blayney club down the years.
