GAC notes:
ACFL Division 3
begins on Monday April 17th,
with Darragh Cross at home to Ardglass
in the first match. Throw-in is at
6.45pm.
The minor team had
no match on Sunday when St Pauls
failed to field, Darragh were awarded
the points. Minor match tonight (Wed)
away to St Pauls.
The reserve team
overcame Aughlisnafin on Sunday in a
challenge match by 1-14 to 3-3. The
scorers were Michael McMahon (1-2),
Marty McGreevy (0-3), Hugh Murray
(0-2), Eoin Mageean (0-2), Brian
Canavan (0-2), Dan Murray (0-1),
Fintan Murray (0-1), Eugene Murray
(0-1). All reserve players must attend
training on a Monday and Wednesday
night. The league begins on Sunday 23rd
August with an away match against
Ardglass.
At the recent
juvenile presentation held in the
clubrooms the following awards were

Juvenile hurling
training is expected to start in the
coming weeks, with Monday April 24th
a provisional date for the first
training session. Players will be
notified soon as confirmation.
Under 16 and Under
14 East Down league football begins
over the Easter period. On Tuesday 18th
April Darragh Cross will be at home to
Dundrum in the U16 league. The U14s
begin on Thursday 20th
April with an away match against
Loughinisland.
