Darragh Cross Notes - 21st Feb 2006

Darragh Cross, reigning Junior Hurling champions are currently looking for a manager for the senior team. Anyone who is interested is asked to contact club secretary Liam Murray on 02897 510893.

The senior hurlers are asked to attend training tonight (Wednesday) at St Colmchilles High School in Crossgar at 6.45pm, along with the senior, reserve and minor footballers. Please bring trainers for indoor work.

The senior footballers will play Gort na Mona on Sunday in a challenge game at 2.30pm in Belfast.

There will be a quiz night at the clubrooms on Friday evening at 8pm to raise funds for the running of the club. Everyone is welcome. The club are also running a poker night in the club rooms on Friday 10th March.

*Membership fees are due for the year. An adult membership is £25, for a couple it is £30, for students it is £15, and £10 for juveniles.There also is the option of paying a £60 membership fee which includes entry to the club lottery every week for a year. All fees must be paid by anyone playing in any team this year. Payments can be made to Hugh Murray or Michael McGreevy.

*There will be an open meeting on Tuesday March 7th in the clubrooms at 7.30pm for anyone wishing to raise any questions or proposals to the committee or to discuss any club-related topics.

There will be two foundation coaching courses for football in the clubrooms in the near future. They will be held on Friday 3rd March and Sunday 5th March, anyone interested should contact Michael McGreevy.
