It's been two years since Dundrum U-12's have won a game of football. However, this statistic will be condemned to the history books in the very near future judging on this team performance from Sunday afternoon.
Some superb individual displays from Rory Kavanagh (2-01), Brendan Cunningham (0-02) and Stephen Orme (0-04) deserved much better but it was the trojan like efforts of some of the younger players which stood out.
Conn Rooney and Declan Cunningham were particurlarly impressive in the backs and received some excellent support from Jack Doyle. Ciaran Carville made an impressive return to the fold with a very physical performance at midfield.
In the attack Ronan Savage give another master class in ball winning. His hard graft payed off time after time especially in his supply to Gary Russell (2-00).
Ardglass were a well organised and useful attacking side. Their ability to play good football when under pressure was very evident. An astonishing three goals in the last seven minutes sealed for them a hard earned victory.
