* Nora Lennon's Month's Mind will be
held this Friday night at 7.30pm in
Sacred Heart Church, Dundrum.
* The club would like to wish Maurice
McCormick a speedy recovery after his
injury on Sunday night. The big St Johns
man broke his ankle.
* Peter McVerry had a magnificent debut
for the Seniors in goal on Monday night.
Called in at the last minute as a replacement
for the injured Collie King, Peter had
a tremendous hour between the sticks.
This was his first Senior outing after
transferring from Armagh club Carrickcruppen.
* The Seniors visit Bosco on Friday
night in the League with a 7.30pm throw
in. Leo Smyth of Mayobridge is down
to referee it. Training takes place
tonight at 7.30pm. ACFL Division 3 result:
Dundrum 1-11 Darragh Cross 1-10. Well
Done lads!
* The Reserves had an excellent 4-06
to 2-10 win over St Johns in the League.
* The U-16's take on Loughinisland tomorrow
night in the League at home with a 7.30pm
throw in.
* The U-14's travel to Saul next Tuesday
night for their group stage match.
* A weakened U-12 team lost out to Killyleagh
on Sunday by five points.
* Declan Kavanagh was part of the Down
U-15 setup that travelled to Owenbeg
on Saturday for an inter county tournament.
