* Well done to the 7's panel who came runners up in the Ulster Junior 7's Shield at Ballykinlar on Saturday. The side were drawn in the group of death that included eventual Cup winners An Riocht. Ironically Granemore from Armagh were also in the group and they ended up second best to An Riocht in the final. Results: Dundrum 3-02 Granemore 3-04, Dundrum 1-03 An Riocht 1-02. Bright emerged victorious in the Shield final by beating the Duns by four. Incidentally Dundrum were the only team to beat An Riocht all day.
The panel for the day was: C.King, C.McKibbin, N.McComiskey, J.Hurley, G.Graham, C.Venney, M.Melville, M.Fitzsimons, C.McShane and John McKibben. Manager was Kieran Walsh.
* The Seniors entertain Drumaness at home on Friday night in the League at 7.30pm. A big turnout of support would be much appreciated.
* The U-16's came away from Cherryvale last Thursday night with a draw against Bredagh. Training resumes on Monday night at 6.30pm.
* The U-14's crashed out of the Championship to Downpatrick last week.
* The U-12's lost to Carryduff twice in six days. First of all was the league defeat on Monday night and then the exit from the Championship on Sunday.
* It's great to see young Conn Rooney back in action. Conn was out for several weeks with illness.
* Best wishes go to John Morgan and his new business venture, Stuntman Inc.
