* The 2005 Dundrum GFC Yearbook is now available for purchase at a price of £5. Orders can be emailed to marc_mac_siomoin@yahoo.co.uk or telephoned to 07742217913. Alternatively the book will be on sale from 7pm on Friday night in the Parochial Hall as well as after 7.30pm Mass in Dundrum on Saturday night.

The publication covers the successful 2005 sea son in great detail. The Senior's path to promotion to Division 3 is well documented and there is a special feature on the Junior Championship Final. Club captain Kieran Walsh casts his eye over the year in an amusing article and there are interviews with the All Ireland Minor winning pair of John Morgan and Paul McComiskey. The exploits of the Reserves, Minors and U-16's are all chartered and the Juvenile scene is vastly covered. Added to this are specially contributed articles on the GAA and How to Speak It! and You Know You Are a Junior Footballer When...

* Tonight (Wednesday) the Seniors are training in the Peak Fitness gym on the Castlewellan Road. Local based players are requested to be there for the 7pm session while Belfast based players should be present for 7.30pm. The cost is £2 per head.

Belfast based players are reminded that the bus will be leaving the Queens Student Union at 6pm sharp and will be returning to the city around 10pm.

Training on Friday night will be held in the Parochial Hall with a 7.30pm start. Players are reminded to bring water bottles and suitable indoor footwear.

* Tonight (Wednesday) the Minors are training in Ballykinlar at 7.30pm under the floodlights. Dundrum players are to assemble at the changing rooms for 6.50pm. Players are reminded of the importance of training in improving their performance. Therefore a full turnout is requested.

On Sunday at 12 noon the team will play the second game of their League campaign against Ardglass in Ardtole. Dundrum players should meet at the filling station for 10.15am. Ballykinlar players should be at the pitch for 10.30am sharp.

Bredagh defeated the side in the League opener by eleven points on Sunday in Ballykinlar.

* Well done to Paul McComiskey, Paul Rooney and Michael Rooney who helped St Patrick's, Downpatrick, through to the Semi Finals of the McLarnon Cup. The 'Red High' beat St Louis, Ballymena, by seven points. Michael had a solid game at corner back while Paul scored 1-03 from play in corner forward.

* Marc Cunningham had a great game at corner back for the East Down Minor Select team who defeated Antrim in a trial game in Cherryvale on Saturday.

* Aaron Doyle was in action again for the Down U-21's when they defeated Antrim in a challenge game in Jordanstown on Saturday. Aaron played at left half forward when introduced in the second half.
