Down ACFL Division 3
Tullylish 2-09 Dundrum 0-08
It was the same old story for
Dundrum as they fell short to
Tullylish at a sun kissed
Laurencetown.
This game basically characterised
the Duns early season form. They
were never really trailing massively
but they were never near getting on
top.
Tullylish dominated the 1st half and
two goals in the first fourteen
minutes provided them with a decent
platorm. Despite being very wasteful
the Lish still managed to command a
2-05 to 0-02 lead at the break.
The 2nd half saw a bit of a
turnaround as the Duns defeated the
Lish by six points to four. However,
an elusive goal for the away side
went a begging and they ended up
succumbing to a far superior team
who were surprisingly understrength
for this encounter.
