Dundrum Notes - 10th Nov

 

* The U-21 players of Dundrum, Ballykinlar and Aughlisnafin have joined forces for the forthcoming East Down U-21 Championship. Taking the team this year will be John McShane (Dundrum), Paddy Doherty (Ballykinlar), Paul Reynolds (Ballykinlar) and Joe Scullion (Aughlisnafin).

Training started on Sunday past in Ballykinlar. Another session will be held under lights on Friday night in Dundrum with all players expected to be on the pitch for 7pm sharp. Then on Sunday the team will train again in Ballykinlar.

The following players are all expected to attend:

* The Club's Dinner Dance will be held on Friday the 17th of November in the Slieve Donard Hotel. Special guest will be current Down Senior footballer Daniel Hughes. Anybody who has not yet booked their place should contact any committee member ASAP.

* Good luck to Declan Kavanagh for Sunday when he will be one of the Down Representatives heading to Owenbeg, Derry, for the Ulster U-17 Compromise Rules trials.
