* The
Seniors
picked
up two
wins in
the
League
last
week.
Last
Monday
they
travelled
to St
Patrick's
Park to
take on
Saul.
Despite
not
playing
to their
potential
the Duns
edged
through
on a
2-09 to
2-06
scoreline.
Then on
Friday
night
past an
in-form
Bosco
team
visited
Dundrum
but the
Newry
men
found
the Duns
in great
form as
John
McShane's
men
coasted
to a
2-12 to
0-10
victory.
On
Monday
night
the Duns
travelled
to
Drumgath.

next

Tomorrow
night
(Thursday)
Bredagh
will
travel
to
Dundrum
in a
game
which
has been
brought
forward
from
Friday
night.
This
match
will
round
off a
hectic
period
for the
Seniors
as they
will
have
faced
three
games in
six
days.
* Senior
captain
Kieran
Walsh
would
like to
thank
Eddie
Harney
for his
help
after he
sustained
his
injury
in the
game
against
Saul
last
week.
* The
Reserves
tasted
defeat
again in
the
League
on
Sunday
evening.
They
travelled
to a
very
strong
Kilcoo
III's
team who
ran the
Duns
ragged
and
emerged
victors
on a
5-14 to
0-12
scoreline.
This
Sunday
the
Reserves
will
host
Teconnaught
with a
7pm
throw-in.
Shane
Lowey is
down to
referee.
* The
Minors
were
destroyed
by an
excellent
Dromara/Liatroim
combination
at
Dromara
last
Wednesday.
The home
team ran
amok and
ended up
winners
on a
6-14 to
0-03
scoreline.
Tonight
(Wednesday)
Drumaness
will
visit
Ballykinlar
for a
7.15pm
throw-in.
Peter
Brannigan
is to
officiate.
This
Sunday
sees the
East
Down
Minor
Feis 7's
being
held in
Ballykinlar
with a
12pm
start.
Naomh
Seosamh
have
been
drawn to
face
Kilclief
in
Section
B.

luck to

Morgan

and
Declan
Kavanagh
(Player)
who were
on the
losing
Down
Minor
side who
were
pipped
to the
Ulster
League
title by
Derry
after
extra
time in
Dungannon
on
Saturday.
* The
U-16's
suffered
a two
point
defeat
at the
hands of
Bright
in
Ballynoe
last
Tuesday.
In what
proved
to be an
excellent
game of
football,
the
Bright
lads won
on a
scoreline
of 3-08
to 2-09.
Last
night
(Tuesday)
the
U-16's
hosted
St Pauls
while
next
Tuesday
they
will
travel
to
Dromara
for a
7.30pm
throw-in.
* The
U-14's
were
soundly
beaten
by St
Pauls in
their
opening
League
fixture
last
Thursday
by 4-09
to 0-10.
The boys
have no
game
tomorrow
night
(Thursday).
* The
U-12's
were in
Go Games
action
on
Sunday
against
Ballykinlar
at the
Old Road
Council
pitch.
The
previous
day the
U-10's
ventured
to
Downpatrick
for
their
first
U-10's
Blitz of
the
season.
This
Sunday
the
U-12's
will
travel
to
Bright
for a
12pm
throw-in.
* The
Youth
Committee
have
organised
a trip
to Croke
Park for
all
U-14s
and
younger
only on
the 28th
of
April.

helping
out on
this
venture

* Never
mind the
Grand
National
that
took
place on
Saturday
– the
BIG RACE
DAY will
be on
Saturday
12th May
at
Downpatrick
Racecourse
when
Dundrum
GFC will
be
holding
our
inaugural
Day at
the
Races.
The
Committee
are
hoping
that
this new
venture
will
become
an
important
and
enjoyable
annual
social
event
appealing
to all
members,
friends
and
associates
of the
club.
Cost is
£400 for
a table
of 10 or
£40 per
head.
There is
a full
racecard
of 7
races
and the
price
also
includes
entrance
to the
new
pavilion,
lunch,
tipster
and
band.
The day
will
kick off
at
12.30pm
and
conclude
around
7pm.
Please

member
of the
committee
if you
want to
sponsor
a race,
take a
table or
even
just go
along
yourself
to
support
Dundrum
at the
Race
Day..
There
will
also be
a big
draw on
the day.
