Dundrum
GFC Club Notes.
* The Seniors
returned from
the July break
with two encouraging
wins over Teconnaught
and Ardglass.
On Monday night
past they took
on St Pauls at
home while this
Friday they travel
to Ballynoe to
take on Bright.
Next up after
this is the eagerly
anticipated Championship
encounter against
Teconnaught in
Downpatrick on
Saturday the 11th.
* The Reserves
have still yet
to get a win in
the EDRFL this
season. On Sunday
they were well
beaten 2-15 to
1-09 by a more
experienced and
clinical Castlewellan
III's. On a more
positive note
though the team
did win the 2nd
half by a point.

on the night were

Danny McGrattan,
Richard Fitzsimons,
NJ McLaughlin,
Mark Fitzsimons,

* Due to poor
numbers and unavailability
of players the
Minors have had
to pull out of
the East Down
Minor League.
* The U-16's romped
in to the Semi
Finals of the
East Down B Championship
after a fantastic
1-16 to 1-06 win
over St Johns
at Dundrum on
Saturday. Thanks
to all those who
turned up to watch
the game and to
those who operated
the scoreboard.
The team faced
Kilclief last
night (Tuesday)
in the League
while upcoming
fixtures include
Dromara again
in the League
and Ardglass in
the Championship
Semi Final.
* Congratulations
to the St Josephs
U-14 team who
lifted the Damien
McCashin Shield
over the July
holidays. A victory
over Ardglass
in the Semi Final
led to a great
3-02 to 3-01 win
over Bright in
the Final. Well
done to the Dundrum
representatives
on the team: Conn
Rooney (captain),
Deaghlan Cunningham,
Oisin McKibbin
and Rory Kavanagh.
