Dundrum GFC Club Notes

* The club's two adult teams had a bad weekend of it as both the Seniors and Reserves slumped to defeats. The Seniors fell to Bosco on a 4-09 to 0-12 scoreline while the Reserves crashed out of the RFC at the first hurdle when they collapsed to Liatroim III's on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-06.

Training takes place tonight (Wednesday) for both Seniors and Reserves at 7.30pm. The Seniors then take on Drumgath at home on Friday night at 7.15pm while the Reserves host St Pauls on Sunday evening at 7pm.

* The Minors face Dromara/Liatroim tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm in Ballykinlar. Dundrum players are to meet at the clubrooms at 6pm while Ballykinlar players should meet at 6.30pm at their pitch.

* The U-16's defeated a previously unbeaten Saul team in the League last Tuesday in Dundrum. In what was an excellent performance, the displays of Kieran Carville, Conor Miskelly, Raymie Melville, Sean O'Rourke, Philip Mageean, Brendan Cunningham and Mark Grant really stood out. In what was ultimately a team orientated victory the Parish amalgamation won on a 0-13 to 2-04 scoreline. This now leaves St Josephs joint top of the League with Saul at the half way stage on twelve points apeice with St Johns sitting in third with ten points.

St Josephs team and scorers: E.King, D.Brennan, K.Carville, R.Melville, P.Curry (0-01), C.Miskelly, C.McKee, S.O'Rourke (0-04), P.Mageean, M.Grant, B.Cunningham (0-04, 1F), S.Murray (0-01), S.Mason (0-03, 1F), D.Smith, C.Mason.  Subs: A.O'Hare, PJ Conlon.

Last night (Tuesday) Bright visited Dundrum in the League. Next Tuesday there is no League or Championship fixture for the team so it is hoped that they will take on Eire Og, Derriaghy, in a home friendly with details of this fixture being made availalble to the players later this week.

* The U-14's took on Teconnaught in Ballykinlar on Monday night in the League. They have no fixture this Thursday night.

* The U-12's will travel to Ballykinlar on Sunday for a Go Games match at 12pm while the U-10's travel to Bright on Saturday for a Blitz that will begin at 10am.
