Dundrum GFC would like
to extend their
sympathy to the entire
Rooney family on the
recent death of Hugh.
To our former
Secretary Daniel,
esteemed members
Noreen and Patricia
and to current Senior
players Michael and
Paul we offer our
greatest condolences.
*
The club's county
representatives had
mixed fortunes at the
weekend. Paul
McComiskey was
involved with the
U-21's in their defeat
to Offaly in Tullamore
while John Morgan
(Coach) and Declan
Kavanagh fared better
with the Minors as
they overcame Carlow
in Saval.
*
Commiserations to Paul
McComiskey and the
Queens Freshers who
exited the All Ireland
series at the Semi
Final stage to DCU
last Wednesday. The
Dublin college emerged
3-11 to 0-14 victors.
Out of Queens total of
0-14 Paul amassed a
personal tally of
0-10.

The Senior team had
their weekend away to
Letterkenny and what
an eventful one it
proved to be. Some
players learned a lot
about themselves while
some got to know their
teamates a lot better.
Thanks must go to
Martin Coughlan for
organising this event
and a word of warning
to all who attended:
what happens in
Letterkenny stays in
Letterkenny!

Senior team training
takes place tonight
(Wednesday) at 7.30pm

session will be held
on Friday at the same
time. Then on Sunday
Glasdrumman will be
the opponents in a
Challenge game.
*
Minors and U-16's are
to continue to train
with the Seniors for
the next fortnight.
*
There will be a
committee meeting this
Monday night at 7.30pm
in the clubrooms.
