* With all the celebrations coming to an end, everyone at the club would like to congratulate the Senior team on their promotion to Division 2 and their Division 3 League title success. The players were superb in their defeats of Saul, Tullylish and Bredagh. Well done to them and their inspirational captain Kieran Walsh.
Also, a big well done goes to the management team of John McShane (Manager), John Morgan (Coach) and Eddie Campbell (Trainer). The two Johns have had a hugely successful three years in charge of the team while Eddie's fitness regimes have worked wonders.

A thanks also goes to the committee, supporters and sponsors especially our Chairman Ollie Forsythe and Treasurer Kieran McKibben.

* The club's annual dinner dance takes place on Friday the 2nd of November in the Slieve Donard hotel. The GAA President Nicky Brennan is the special guest and a very large crowd is expected. All previous All Ireland winners from the club have also received special invites.
With a rush for tickets expected those wishing to go should contact any committee member in the next week to book their place.

* The club still has two teams in action. The U-13's kicked off with a 5-10 to 1-09 defeat to Bryansford in Ballykinlar on Sunday. After this game the U-20's took on Carryduff in their first game and lost heavily on a 3-16 to 0-09 scoreline at the same venue.
